Global Studies has a range of resources available to students interested in issues of global concern. Among them are:


Summer 2008 Arabic & Persion Immersion Program (APIP)
June 14 - August 9, 2008.
Offering beginning, intermediate and advanced Arabic; beginning and intermediate Persian.

  • Through the Global Studies, Teaching, and the Curriculum program, teachers can earn a master's degree with a global studies focus or participate in a 12-credit Advanced Program of Studies certificate for university special students.
  • All students will be interested in our list of Global Studies course lists -- for the current and upcoming semesters;
  • Global Studies, with the International Institute, sponsor a number of Research Circles involving Madison faculty and graduate students from various disciplines in the humanities and social sciences and designed to create new forms of area knowledge that cross traditional regional and disciplinary borders.

  • Our library also offers a variety of resources that may be of use to students, faculty and researchers.
